Lack of customer care and unprofessionalism!!

I phoned Essops in Krugersdorp *** to query about the Riva Aluminium Coffee Table which is on promotion for R1 999.00 and on their website is has the option for "Laybye". I phoned the store and spoke to Aisha and she informed me that I could purchase this item over a laybye period of 6 months. She transferred me to their online store were I spoke to Gift. Gift told me that I could not purchase the item on laybye as it was on promotion. I then insisted on speaking to the manager and she transferred me to Embi, who was really not interested in helping or accomodating this issue He was really not brothered about trying to help out the customer (myself). I have left a message for the Operations Manager (Abu) to give me a call as I was advised that he would be in on Wednesday - 20/01/2021. I am shocked with the unprofessionalism and lack of customer care Essops has. Whatever happened to the term "the customer is always right??" They are just not bothered about customers.......
