Essops furniture damaged wihtin a week and no exchange/refund was done :(

I bought a coffee able at Essops in Xavier street, JHB South and did my own collection. Upon collection the table was placed in a wrapped box and no checking of the condition of the table was performed. When I got home, I took the table to the house and upon opening the box, I got a shock of my life as I notices that it was already damaged. I then went to Essops to inform them about this and I was told that there is nothing they can do about it since they do not know if I am the one that damaged the table. No exchange/refund was done. I will never buy anything from them ever again. Their furniture is very expensive but they provide cheap service to their customers.
