WORST time with essential med

<p>Ok so I just thought I'd share part two of my story, other than not being able to get doctors in my area (which you said you would sort out, to be fair I didn't give all my doctors info and decided to stick with the ones you gave) I actually thought ah lets just give them a chance, so I go to the doctor with a problem in my hand that I've now had for over a year only to find out that NO you don't pay for specialists up front I must pay and you pay me back - i thought ok, a bit of a mission, but doable. So before going to the specialist I call to make sure that was the case, which it was, turns out I have a R1500 savings for specialists per year, minimal, but cool! Then upon asking how much they would cover if I needed an op, turns out THEY COVER NOTHING!!!!!! wow a great medical aid this is that WILL COVER NOTHING OF MY OPERATION except for they day I stay in hospital, wow that would have been nice to know when I signed up. You guys failed to mention all the T's and C's when you were convincing me that this was the best decision I could ever make. Now because I actually cant afford my operation I HAVE TO CANCLE THIS and WAIT A WHOLE YEAR before I can get an op with another medical aid. SO THANK YOU SO MUCH ESSENTIAL MED for TOTALLY MESSING UP MY HAND! Thanks to you it will probably only get worse. And what scares me is when I think of how many people also didn't know this and are now also stuck with this problem. After calling them they tell me NONE OF THE POLICIES COVER OPERATIONS!!!!!! THIS REALLY SUCKS! also your "unlimited doctors and dentist appointments" THEY ALSO HAVE ****TY T'c and C's because it's not unlimited haha you get 3 fillings per year (not white but grey) also ONE crown. I went for fillings not knowing this and ended up having to pay for all my fillings because all you covered was the injection and the visit. now I need a fourth filling and I don't even know if you will cover the visit haha I just don't understand how you can sell yourself as a medical aid when thats not what you are! ALSO WHY HAVE A ****ING CHEAP POLICY WHEN IT DOESNT COVER ANYTHING!!!! you making people pay per month and then they gonna have to pay for most of the **** themselves anyways... WHAT IS THE POINT!!! I'm super angry with you guys I'm FUMING! Please DON'T call me after this because you obviously can't fix it, rules are rules but **** what a royal **** up, ACTUALLY signing up with you may have been the WORST life choice I have EVER made! so thank you for this experience you have taught me that paying a little extra with a trustworthy medical aid is much better and will go a long way! CANT WAIT TO SWITCH!!!!!!!!!! GOOD RIDDENS!!!! (I copied and pasted this from a comment I wrote to them sorry for the aggression)</p>
