Still billed for a Policy cancelled months ago

I contacted the cancellation department in October 2015 as I was immigrating and needed to cancel my policy. I was told that I had to fill in a form and it would be completed. Thereafter, I had received a monthly deduction from Essential Med for the Gap Cover that I took for my policy. When I followed up on this, I was told that it is a separate policy which needed to be cancelled separately. I cannot believe that it is a clients duty to know that the gap cover taken on my primary cover constitutes a separate policy. I asked the consultant Garth numerous times to prove that I was made aware of this protocol of theirs, being a separate policy, and he has since gone rouge. <br> When I originally took out this \Essential life family protector plan\" which what they term the gap cover, I should have been informed of this. Then again, when requesting to cancel my policy.<br> This unauthorized debit out of my account constitutes theft and Essential Med cannot be bothered to fix their error and credit my account for the money taken.<br> "
