living life interupted

Its not affordable health care at private facilities as claimed in the slogan. MY son has a scheduled tonselectomy on the 4th of January and its taken me the entire month of December to try and get this authorised. I have never been asked to complete forms and forward forms to services providers and back to scheme like I have been asked to do with essential med. I have wasted so much time and effort only to be told that my son's one day procedure will not be paid up in full. I will have to pay an upfront amount of 6000 on admission and an outstanding balance of 3270 will have to be paid to the treating doctor. Who has that kind of money in January? is this not why you take out insurance with an insurer who claims to make you life easier and have your best interest in mind? throughout this month I have had an earfull from the service providers on how patient I am with this insurer and how they have never experience this level of service with any of the other funds or insurances. Well im done being patient as my sons health is in jeopardy here and I feel that I am getting the run around and my monies are politely being taken every month without a thank you! I have long email threads of discussions with doctors rooms, hospitals and admin staff and I have had enough of this chit chat and would like some real answers and a lil bit of good service please.
