HORRIBLE

VERY DISAPPOINTING, I was in a car accident on the 27th of March 2025 and before the ambulance even put me in the van they contacted essential med to get authorization and get told which hospital to take me to, then I was rushed to Roseaches Hospital Based in Primerose, before the hospital could do a x-ray or CT scan the hospital had to first admit me before they could do the necessary tests which mind you I was admitted at 2:30ish pm I only got attended to at 9:00pm in the evening, the hospital wanted me to pay R8000 for xray and CT scan CASH (which I did not have) then only after admittance the hospital could run the tests, last week I received an invoice from the hospital which I HAD to send to the medical aid to pay for it and I HAD to email P.O.P back to the hospital. Today the 24 April 2025 I received a invoice from Essential med for the hospitalization and not being referred from a contracted GP to the hospital but I WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AND THEY GOT THE AUTHORIZATION BEFORE I WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL. Now I am sitting with an invoice with an amount I can not afford. This is not my first disappointment with this people, I can not account on this people for any emergency. This is my final draw with this medical aid.
