Essential med not paying doctors bills
This has gotten so bad that I actually cancelled essential med... Do NOT take this medical insurance as you will be liable for all your medical bills. They simply do not pay.<br> <br> I have used essential med over the last 3 years... and initially they were fine (managed by carecross)... then they moved to 1doc... and since then it has been pure hell. I now received a bill from my local GP (Roodepoort medical centre) for over R3000 because essential med refuses to pay them for the last year!!!!<br> <br> Phoning them has proved to be just as frustrating. They claim that they cant pay any of the consultations, because it is a stale account. I have proof that the accounts were sent in on time every time I went to see the doctor... but still they just don't care.

With regards to the accounts that was rejected due to patient inactive, we received your proof of payment and the Finance department allocated your premium and your accounts that were rejected have been loaded for the next payment run.
