Essential med
Stay away from essntial med. I've been with essential med for a year now I have a day to day and hospital plan so now after a year the 1st time I want to use my hospital paln beacause I torn a sinew in my finger (and have the highest level of hospital plan possible with them) they just say sorry we don't cover same day procedure and the case is not medical motivated enough to stay over in hospital for the night so why do n have a hospital plan at all just paying for something I can't use when I need to. DON'T BE FOOLED BY THEM THEY'RE USELESS AND DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL.

We have received your authorisation request and the information provided by the doctor you will be admitted for less than 24 hours. This policy does not cover day procedures. You have to be admitted for 24 hours and longer to be covered. Based on the ICD 10 codes provided the procedure is a day case.

1st essential med was excuse was it's a day procedure
2de excuse after doc admitted me to stay overnight is that it's not medical motivated enough
3de excuse is that it's an injury on duty and I should claim from my work place witch I never said it was because it was during a sport match Thursday so don't know where u got that from just jumping from excuse to excuse pathetic not helping your clients for something they pay for you lost me as a client and everyone I advised to join essential med

We have been in contact with the practice this morning and they stated doctor can keep you overnight and it will be better. We advised we will then be able to provide 1 day stated benefit. The practice stated that will never be enough.
