Be careful of medical schdmes/aid

I have been a part of Essentialmed for more than 5 years, but when I needed them most they disappointed me. The minute I was diagnosed with Diabetes they had the one excuse after the other. My medical bills (from a state hospital) was submitted immediately after receiving them and now according to the account section I did not send it to them within 120days. (How do I tell a hospital when to send my bill?) So they are not going to pay. And after being diagnosed with Diabetes they took more than 3 weeks to authorise my medication (after constantly having excuses when I phoned) and that left me with pankreatitus and in a state of DKA almost losing my life. How can one person fight against a big company. So I will have to warn people to be careful when they choose a medical scheme/aid.
