Disgusting service

Bought 6 tv's yesterday around 1pm. Sold a tv around 3pm tv came on went off within a minute. This morning took tv to hi sense who gave a obf report . All ok then to Esquire and problem started. Gave tv they booked in and tech said they will call me once credit has been passed. They told me once hi sense refunds or credits them only then will I get a swop out. Hello are we in the dark ages and has no in Esquire heard about the CPA act that has to be followed. After insisting and arguing that my rights were being violated the manager sorted with his head office. Please kindly close my account immediately. It's just not worth it to buy from a company whose policies haven't adapted to the CPA.

Dear Gerrard Luke from QE SECURITY SYSTEMS

We apologise for any inconvenience caused but frankly, we are not sure why you have made this public post.

Our understanding is that you brought in an OBF form from HiSense South Africa which we or any company need to inspect, process and verify the authenticity and then process the necessary credit note or an exchange (which is what you chose), this is a best -practise standard with all other IT distributors in South Africa.

We would like to bring it to your attention that once the branch manager approved the exchange, a brand new unit was given to you and in this did not take 30-minutes, as per our camera footage.

Esquire follows the CPA and have always done so and to imply anything otherwise is unfair as you left with a brand new unit as per our 7-day Dead On Arrival (DOA) policy.

As per your request, your account has been closed and we wish you good prospects for you and your business in the future going forward.

Regards,

Roger Pahadia

Group General Manager

Best regards,
