poor workmanship

<p>I live in Strand. Strand Municipality subcontracted Esor Construction to do maintenance on our roads. </p> <p>Main road strand at the robot accross Autozone they repaired the pipes. 4 times i have ask the maintenance officer Rob to please clear the loose stones and debris in the road. </p> <p> </p> <p>I am driving a bike daily and almost slided on the stones and debris on that robot intersection. All fell on death ears to Rob.The Monday i drove with my Mercedes Benz C230 Kompressor and stopped at the robot. The vihicle infront of me moved off and a stone hit my windscreen on my driver side.</p> <p> </p> <p>I went to Glasfit and the repair of my windscreen cost R6800 to replace. I have complaint by Rob van Vuuren but yes all comes with different stories like this :</p> <p> </p> <p>Good day Walton,</p> <p> My apologies for not coming back to you sooner but I overlooked the response sent by our insurers.</p> <p> The claim has been refuted based on reasons below.</p> <p> Please provide substantiation for the claim relating to the reasons below. Our works are complete on site and when I drove through the area there is still a lot of gravel in other areas on the roads where we did not work caused by the electricity department and fibre optic installation and it is therefore very difficult to prove our liability.</p> <p> </p> <p>This incident happend long before you went to inspect it. Your maintenance officer Rob sended you the photos and then cleaned the roadway while i was standing there. I have prrof of that and a recording and video was made on that day.</p> <p> </p> <p>I do hope any people that has the same problem to do what i am going to do. Go to small claims court and sue them for poor workmanship</p> <p> </p>
