Worse service ever

Eskom is the worse service provider i apply for connection in 6 May 2019 they say I must pay 2500 so that they can do connection ,I pay on 25 May 2019 now I've been at their office in Volkrust, Mpumalanga province they told me stories it's been 6 full months now I've proof of payment ,sms they send to me and their refence they give it to me when i apply. Where is the service I pay for ?
