Very Good Service from Eskom

I live on a small holding outside Pretoria and our power is supp**** by Eskom, not the town council.<br> On Sun 12 July 2015 at around 21:00 the transformer outside my property started sparking and caught fire. The power to both my neighbour and I went out about 2 minutes later. I contacted Eskom. <br> <br> I) The call center answered in less than a minute<br> II) In under five minutes the issue was logged and I received an sms with the reference number<br> III) Within 30-45 minutes an electrician from Eskom called me to makes sure that he was on his way to the correct pole<br> IV) He arrived within another 10-20 minutes and the issue was repaired within an hour<br> V) The electrician called again to ask if we can check the phases so that none of the pumps and motors on the property is damaged when they are turned on. This we did and all was fine<br> <br> This is the 2nd time in 8 years I've had to deal with Eskom regarding ****** cables or a faulty transformer and both times the were exceptionally fast to respond.
