Useless Eskom

One hears about eskom being useless and truth be told it is true. I am a resident child living in chiawelo ext2 soweto. Sad to say that on the 27th June 2023 our transformer burnt out. Our leaders had meetings after meetings, we were made to sign some acknowledgement of debt forms, they even went as far as pretoria to try sort the issue out. Then a promise was made that we have a transformer ordered and will be installed on the 29th September 2023. Bearing in mind its 3 months later with no electricity. Now today when our leaders follow through to ensure tomorrow we get what has been promised, we are then told that they ordered the wrong one and there won't be any installation happening. Excuse my language however that's a whole lot of bull****. They sat with a transformer for over a month only foe them to realize a day before installation that it's a wrong one. We had to endure using gas and boiling water which is dangerous as we have little children in our homes. We had to endure buying meat daily so it doesn't rot as we have no fridges or freezers. We have kids who couldn't study via wifi as we had no power. We are paying for service we can't use. Yet the very same senior managers ( I would call them even though they don't deserve the title) sit in they lit homes with big screen tv's and warm food and don't care about us as it's not them being affected. Useless bunch of people at eskom chiawelo feeding us lies and empty promises.
