Unattended ******* connections complaint!!!!!!! Bad service!!!!!
Last year in July or August, we had a problem of the power tripping only for houses sharing a particular pole and in my area it's known that some houses are *******ly connected (meters are bridged). We did lay a complaint with Eskom telephonically and were given a reference number and told that the matter will be attended to in 7 days time. 7 days passed and we followed and were told that they are still coming to check, until to this day even when we made up several follow ups. Since now it's winter time again, the very same problem of Power tripping has started again, yesterday it happened twice and I personally called eskom to inform them of the fault which was attended to and did draw their attention to the fact that we did lay a complaint the previous year. Today the power t********** again and I had to call to inform them again of the power trip and again drewtheir attention to the fact that we did lay a complaint last year. Now, I am in the dark during this cold time and was told that the matter will be attended to tomorrow as the technicians work until 8pm, though I reported the matter around 6.
My question now is, why is eskom advising people to call and inform them of ******* connections if they do not do anything?????? Why are people who are buying electricity suffering because of those who chose not to abide to the law????
