Threats made to my mother by Eskom!!!

Eskom turned off the electricity at my mothers house, claimed she owes R23,000. And basically threatens her to not turn back the electricity until bill was paid and for her to take the pre-paid box. My mother has paid her bills consistently every month and pays extra as well on top of the billed amount. Eskom has said that "they will switch off the lights in Orlando West to teach the residents there a lesson because they don't want to get pre-paid electricity". I find it disgusting and very ruthlesss that this has been done to a 71yr old woman. Who pays her bills every month. Her readings have ridiculous amounts in the R20,000 ranges. This is the highest level of ****gery, *******ion and ***** from such a public entity. Forcing people to pay ridiculous amounts of money but fail to show how that amount was billed.

Eskom has really disappointed and we will take legal action for this action. And for their threats made against a 71yr pensioner.
