Terrible service from Eskom

We as the community of Masameni Location have really been given the worst treatment ever from Eskom. Is electricity not our basic right? We have been without electricity since last week Friday night thats besides the previous week whereby we had power cuts every night last week. Day number 5 after plenty people in the community have called to log reports to the eskom customer care center, then being told that the logs have been closed and we are still sitting without electricity. All the fridge stuff has now gone rotten and eskom informs us that they do not refund perishables. We have kids and ourselves going to school having done homework by candle light with unironed uniforms. When one of the community members went to the eskom offices in Mthatha, the technician was so rude and used derogatory terms and referred them back to the customer center number. We as the Masameni Location appeal to you Peter to help us as this problem has been going on for years and we are losing money. Where are our constitutional rights?
