Targeted power cuts on certain sections in neighbourhoods

On 21 June - Monday switched off at 6pm -10pm (but we weren’t scheduled for load reduction that day)

22 June -Tuesday, switched off from 5:30pm brought it back at around 5:40 then switched off again from 6pm - 11pm (again, we were not scheduled for load reduction on this day nor was it technically load reduction allocated hours)

23 June Wednesday - was the only day where we had electricity for a day (and on this day, that’s where the notice of load reduction on 24 June for the morning period (5:00am -9:00am) was issued.

24 June- Thursday, electricity allegedly went off at 4:30am and ever since then until today,Saturday 26 June we do not have power.

A notice was sent out on social media that Eskom is experiencing a network fault and ‘supply interruption’ (at 17:18pm on the 24th of June) as well as a repeated notification on Friday, 25 June (10:03pm)

My only concern is — granted, if the power failure that is taking place currently is due to network fault. Can you please explain to us, what caused the power cuts on Monday and Tuesday? As there was no mention of what those are. It feels like the power supplier is pulling wool over our eyes and is intentionally switching off our neighbourhood, as there has been a trend where every 2 weeks, we do not have stable electricity supply for an average of (40hours) i.e 1 full day and couple of hours some days or 2 days which comprise of, 12 -16 hours of no power. However whenever the supplier is questioned on what is going on, it feels like we are being gaslit as residence of Pimville, zone 6 Soweto
