Why is the electricity being cut off for more than 12 hours in Khwezi Park, Khayelitsha??? The worst thing is that Eskom distributes incorrect schedules indicating that we would have loadshedding for 2 hours at a time yet they don't stick to their own schedules! Last night (14 July 2020) the electricity was cut off at 17:50 yet the schedule stated that it would be off at 18:00 and be back at 20:30. We had no electricity since 17:50 until this morning at 01:30!!! Today it was cut off at 10:00 up until now it's still off. Are we being taken for granted because we are in a so-called black area? Are the white people in Constantia and Camps Bay also subjected to this treatment? How are we supposed to feed and bath babies without hot water? How are we supposed to prepare for work in these cold weather conditions without heaters and hot water? I understand that loadshedding is affecting most people at the moment but surely it shouldn't last for more than 2 hours at a time, this is just not fair!!!
