*** Eskom sent a bill of R19 000 to my parents who are Pensioners. The bill was only emailed on the 14th of January 2024 but they are already threatening to cut off electricity. Please bear in mind that this huge bill is only for one month as the Pensioners always pay their electricity on a monthly basis. We have asked for this bill to be investigated but Eskom say they cannot stop the disconnection. My father sufferes from a heart failure and this is causing so much distress to him. We are not happy at all by the way Eskom is treating their customers who pay their bill monthly.
