Reap off

My mother had a meter problem last year she reported the problem 4 time she has ref number and no one came and one day we were hared a strange noise and we suddenly saw a smoke and we switched the main plug off and as an electrician to fix it for us since technicians from eskom were still deciding when to come and yesterday they came checked the box and found that wiring is not in order and they say my mom must pay R6000 my complain is we wouldn't have hired someone if they respond on time so if waited for them will mean for one year we would have been out of electricity my mother will pay but we want to see warning cause someone did'nt do their job properly I think that is will be fare on both parties
