Power outage for more than 14 hours

We've a power outage since 1am this morning. We logged the call with Eskom and told the problem will be solved by 8am this morning. Its now 4pm and still nothing. Apparently a technician was dispatched at 02:23 but no one is here fixing anything. When we call for progress they just tell us that they are aware and that a technician was dispatched. The fridges are melting coz it's super hot outside. Who's going to pay to replace the food in the fridge? How can we pay so much for electricity and still get such bad service???
