poor service delivery

the services meted out by eskom, Tshwane Municiplaity & Governor's office of ga-rankuwa who are supposedly in charge of street lightings services is totally shambolic, the community is in total disarray, forbid a drop of water should fall from the heavens, the street lights will undoubtedly meet their end ! to add insult to injury, one can only report a faulty street light if one has knowledge of it's allocated name eg light O247 etc otherwise the call centre cannot help, the problem is the majority of street lights as a whole in this area area are non-functioning, I WOULD CONFIDENTLY DARE TO SAY THAT MORE THAN 85% OF ZONE 6'S STREET, APOLLO LIGHTS ARE FAULTY, COMPLETELY OFF AND NOT WORKING, some for a year and even more, the safe shelter or boxes that protect the wiring are seen as a suitable nesting for the birds who are capitilising on this gross negligence.....there is no clear strategic plan of their regular upkeeping, there should be a monthly check up, for servicing of all street lights, nobody from the council, municipality , governor's office, eskom bothers to check and (Eskom vans) race up and down the streets we wonder what they're doing since all the lights do not work.
