"OWING" ESKOM AFTER HOUSE BEING SOLD 9 YEARS AGO! HAVE STATEMENT WITH NIL BALANCE ...

Recently I received a SMS from REVCO advising that I owe Eskom R102k! The house was sold and registered in the new owner's name in Oct 2011. I have a statement from Eskom showing a NIL balance. Never received another statement, email or phone call. 9 YEARS LATER, without any notification I get a SMS from the Debt Collectors saying I owe them this huge amount. I have written to Customer Services many times, and complained on their website also many times. The reference numbers get "closed" but no information whatsoever is provided! Is this even possible or stuff made in nightmares?
