Ordinary people bear the brunt of *******ion.

It is Christmas time, a period of goodwill and sharing with family and friends (and you are from kasi and neighbours too). I live in Cape Town and my folks are in Soweto. You phone them on Christmas Day to wish them a merry one only to be told that they have been without electricity since Sunday. They decided not to let you know earlier because of distance they didn't think it will help. Besides, they have been phoning and visiting Eskom since Sunday, and have been living with hope that the technician they'd been promised will eventually arrive to take them out of their misery. It dawned on them that Christmas was finally here no still no electricity.

This is the impact of *******ion, it wrecks the lives of ordinary people. How am I supposed to enjoy this season of goodwil when the very same people who have sacrificed so much to make me what I am today have got no electricity to cook a decent meal.

This is not the democracy that we struggled for!
