No service from eskom
Please make a zero rating because Eskom definitely doesn't deserve even a single star. About 3 weeks ago heavy rains destroyed a transformer in Tsakane. The transformer was hit by lighting resulting in most parts of Tsakane being without electricity. Eskom workers came to assess the damage & confirmed that indeed the damage was caused by lightning. The counsellor came & demanded that each household must pay R500 to fix the transformer. Now Eskom is going along with that chain of thought claiming that they hired independent contractors to fix it & the money will pay those people.

10 Feb 2026, 10:10Does it mean that every time the transformer is destroyed by natural causes such as lightning we as residents must pay for the damages? That's unfair because some of us are already paying tax and we are not responsible for the hand of God
