No Electricity for 5 months

Very disappointed and disgruntled with the service received from Eskom. We are now going onto the 5th month without electricity and Eskom is not bothered not even 1 bit to resolve the issue which is a damaged transformer box in my neighborhood. We have old people who require different kinds of medication, small kids and new born babies living on my street without electricity, old people have moved to stay with relatives to receive care and have their meds/insulin's stored in their refrigerators as they cannot do that at their homes. We are basically living from hand to mouth as we cannot buy groceries and keep them refrigerated, we spend countless amounts of money on refilling gas cylinders and stoves in order to survive and to have our children go to bed with a warm meal and be able to bath before going to school. Eskom is not bothered and willing to assist or negotiate with us and has made people in my neighborhood struggle daily in order to be able to make ends meet, 5 months without electricity is too long, Eskom do something to assist us!!!!!!
