Meter audit ****

I'm leaving this here so everyone will know it won't make a difference because honestly Eskom does not care about its customers especially us in the rural areas. Have had 5 meter changes in the span of 2 year eskom always says that there is a voltage issue in our town it has been fixed since my folks moved here in 10 years our latest meter is the new split meter that eskom has introduced. It has been a headache since day 1 which was last year in Aug once during the day the power goes on and off flickering we are lucky if we get one hour supply of electricity. We have been calling Eskom to get the issue resolved however when the technicians come and see the meter they shrug and say that the new system there is nothing that they can do. They look at us as if we should expect and accept it. Lately as of 14 June 2022 the lights flicker from the morning go completely out at 9 come back at 12 flicker at 2 till 4 switch off at 4 till 8 when we used Alfred (totally useless if you ask me) we were told that we have to have out meter audited because we only load R250 rand electricity a month instead of R350 as they say that is the average in our area(I wonder what my neighbor who loaded R20 5 years ago and hasn't loaded ever since is doing right) 5 days and they will be here to investigate 5 days tuted into 7 to 14 working days and still no eskom I haven't tampered with my meter and you would think if they suspect med that I have they would have someone here by the next daySince then we have been enjoying the disco lights and paitiently waiting as we stand accused of bieng ********* oh South Africa doing this legally in this country leaves you *****ed anyway so what is the point is what I am asking myself. I titled this a **** because I believe this is a way to get money out if innocent people accuse them of a crime leave them in the dark long enough that they out of desperation resort to illeagal connection any way show up take their meter away leave them in the dark and this time with a R6000 fine. Eskom(And we are out here thinking eskom can't put enough brelain cells to keep the light on. Well they have bigger plans)
