Loadshedding schedules
I am residing in Vanderbijlpark and would like to know a few things that I can give feedback to the community as ELM cannot answer any questions, we ask them
They have so many councilors in ELM but not one can assist with the communities’ questions and just say it is Eskom that decides. How can Eskom decide which extension in a town gets more loadshedding and some extensions get NO loadshedding? Surely ELM should have had a voice in setting up the schedule.
Why is it that the Emfuleni Schedule is for 4 hours at a time and sometimes more, but the other cities all have 2 to 2 ½ hrs?
I have family in Northwest and Mkuze and they all get 2 to 2 ½ hrs loadshedding. I work in Jhb and they also have the same for 2 hrs.
In Vanderbijlpark it does not matter on which stage we are, we have the same schedule every time.
In A12 we also have been selected to have more load shedding than the rest of the town. Why is this? As there are some extensions in Vanderbijlpark that do not get Loadshedding at all.
