Load Shedding - what load shedding?

It is like in a bad dream where truth and reality mingle and one falls deeper and deeper into the hole.<br> In light of our ongoing electricity crisis - and yes, that is what it is - I send e-mails to both ESKOM (10/02/2015) and the electricity department of the City of Tshwane (8/02/2015) enquiring about the possibility of producing and selling back to either one of them solar energy. As I live on 8.5 ha I would like to put down solar panels on perhaps 0.5 ha. This would not cost ESKOM or the tax payer any money (as this would be privately financed) and I would be able to supply some electricity to the grid within weeks. Now isn't that what is needed in times of electricity shortages and load shedding?<br> Months have passed and neither ESKOM nor the Tshwane Electricity Department have bothered to even reply!<br> How much worse does it need to get in our country?????
