<p>Electricity meter at home has smoke coming out from it and we can't cook or switch on any electrical appliances cause when we do the smoke continues to come out of the meter and it smells as though the wires are burning. I called the eskom contact Centre at 13:30 today and I was provided with the a ref number. Only to find out that when I called at 19:50 my call was not logged as an emergency but as a faulty meter. I called again just before 23:00 and spoke and I was advised that all engineers will not do the call out to come and repair the meter utter disrespect.</p>
