Every Sunday in the month of May (starting at around 14h30 and 15h30), there'd be a power outage that would last until the following Tuesday of that week. Until the 23rd of May, where the minisub/transformer finally gave in. And now it needs to be replaced entirely, leaving the entire area without electricity. According to the area manager at Eskom, 77% of resident's were paying for electricity, plus we've all converted to prepaid meters years ago. Meaning, we're not a problematic area. This is now the third week, without electricity, going on four.

No wonder international investors are hesitant on investing money into this country's government.
