Grievance for poorest service
Subject: Complaint Regarding Prolonged Power Outage – Transformer Vpu42/1/6 My name is Christinah Tsholofelo-Lombe (Contact No: ***). I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the prolonged power outage affecting our area since 30 March 2026. Despite being a paying customer, we have been left without electricity for an extended period, with no clear communication or updates provided.
It is deeply concerning that residents who consistently pay for electricity services are being negatively impacted due to issues that should be addressed by Eskom. The responsibility to repair and maintain infrastructure, such as the faulty transformer (Vpu42/1/6), lies with Eskom.
The situation has forced us to rely on candles, paraffin stoves, and gas, which poses serious safety risks, including fire hazards and potential loss of life. This is unacceptable, especially given the length of time we have been without power. other fact is that while we are sitting for months in the darkness ,its easy for the ******* to ***** our Electricity cable then we well again be reliable to keep another money to buy the cable this is truly not fair 34 Hron Street Swaneville (Mogale City ) Below are my details for your reference: Meter Number: ***9 Reference Number: ***

My second complain, If we are community reach out to report our grievances at Randfontein Eskom, they don't have direct contact number i am assuring you can call even 000:00 not even 1 line of phone will ring, no direct email address nothing, what kind of the service provider is this????
