Get your accounts deptment working

I sold my property in 2013 and had the Eskom connection disconnected in June 2014. Fortunately I am aware of Eskom's inability in the accounting environment and as such<br> got them to agree to deduct the amount owing on my last statement from my deposit. The amount owing was about R200 less than my deposit. Surprise, they kept billing<br> me with estimated accounts for more than a year, contacting me every now and then to pay. Miraculously somebody awoke from the Eskom slumber session and reversed<br> the charges. It, not knowing whether it was male or female, was not awoken to the point to realise that I was being charged interest on the estimate accounts. This interest should<br> also have been reversed. This resulted in me now being mercilessly targeted by a money hungry Eskom attorney who is so self-centred and in ability apparently the same<br> as the accounting department, that only he talks and you listen. Needles to say, after repeating myself with the same message at least five times, he still did not get the<br> message I was so eagerly try to convey to him. CONCLUSION: If your dispute with Eskom is less than R5000, go to the Small claims Court in your area (it's freeee) .
