Failed by Eskom and Rand Water

It is annoying to constantly be in the dark when you buy electricity like good citizen and it is not even loadshedding because it is only our section that is affected. Is there a way of buying out Eskom? We are only in March what is going to happen in June when temperatures can reach below 0? Then there is the collaboration between Eskom and Rand Water when the lights go the water joins. 5 hours of no electricity and water remind me again why do we bother to buy and pay for these services?
