Eskom’s poor service from call out crew

Good morning. This is the fifth day without electricity. It was on for an hour and went off at 7:30, a half an hour before loadshedding. It is still off. We had to store our meet in a family members house, iron my work clothes there, wash there, no washing done. When you lodge a complaint you receive a reference number. When you complain for the second time, your reference number falls away and your new reference number is slotted in at the back of the line. Eskom don't tell you these little technical things. Even the Ward counselor was informed. Don't know how much influence they have to escalate the restoration of the electricity and to top it all, you still receive exorbitant electricity bills for services NOT rendered. It was also revealed that the crew going out on the roads, do not complete the requested repairs and then a constant backlog exist. If loadshedding is not enough, the incompetence of the Eskom officials in charge to see that people at least have electricity, is more pathetic!
