Eskom's failure to provide services

I moved into a new house in January and the place is a new settlement where some houses have been electrified and others haven't. I app**** for a connection at the Eskom offices in Burgersfort, under Greater Tubatse Municipality and in Limpopo Province. A few weeks after applying they came to the house to check the distance between the house and the existing pole. That was the last time I heard from them. I am a citizen who deserves a service that I'm prepared to pay for but why the service isn't provided is beyond me. Please help.
