ESKOM we feel sorry for you but please dont continue to make your problems ours. Get your act together please

Open Letter to Eskom We all know that South Africa should never have been entrusted by the white government to be run by one business, Every Buyer knows that 2 or 3 suppliers are needed for essential suppliers. We also know of the "jobs for pals" that resulted in a labour forse that was 2 or 3 times what was required and the total lack of required maintenance and the misappropriation of funds under Zumu that led to the basic collapse of Eskom and the firing of skilled staff. but we all know that all these are the fault of Eskim and not your customers and yet it is your customers who are expected to suffer and expected to pay for all the problems directly caused by Eskom.

We now have to put up with Load Shedding 2 or 3 times a day and pay excessive tariffs to Eskim but what we are not prepared to expect are being told that we will have load shedding for 2 hours and because no one turns us on we stay off for 3 or 4 hours but are still turned off at the expected time. We are UMGENI MUNCIPALITY CEDARA A. Yesterday we were told that we would have load shedding from 8 to 10 and 4 to 6 and 12 to 2AM. But what we actually had was power off at 10 but not coming on until 3:30 but going off at 4. so rather than the expected 2 hours we were off for 8 hours. total as part of our load shedding we were supposed to go off at 4 and come on at 6pm but we came on at 7 :30 pm.

If you state load shedding tines is it not possible to keep to then. this is due to shear incompetence not money problems at Eskom but it results in us your customers having to purchase additional batteries for our alarm systems because of shear incompetence at Eskom. Your customer services department is a joke we after all irrelevant information are not stating our property is without power but the whole area. Andrea you have your problems which maybe are not all your fault but we have many of our problems, none of which are our fault.

ON top of all this we pay our electricity account direct to Eskom. We understand that the municipalities use Eskom as an income stream so their charges might be higher than our payments directly to Eskom. But no we pay more to Eskom than to tjhe municipality.. Why could this possibly be. WE PAY YOU ON TIME<SURELY WE SHOULD pay less and not more
