Eskom's installers keep rocking up at my door without an appointment, requesting that we provide them with parts that should be included by Eskom. Eskom has no records of who was at my door as their installers is not even documenting these visits. Unless I comply with the demands of their installers, my prepaid meter that has already been paid cannot be installed. They are causing me time, stress and money daily to try and salvage the nonsense they are up to outside my door, whilst I am at work.

Where does that leave me as Eskoms client? What does that say about Eskom's processes and the management of rules which should protect their client? How is it possible that random people from Eskom, rock up at my door and theres noone at Eskom that can tell me: Who it was? Why they were there? Is Eskom's installers promping clients to provide their own parts, which Eskom billed you for? What will happen to parts not handed over to clients by installers?

Does this mean that bad guys can now walk into anyone's home, claiming to be from Eskom, as Eskom wouldn't even know whether it's their staff or not.
