ESKOM refusing to assist with electricity fault

Hello Peter,

Just wanted to know if is it LEGAL for ESKOM to flagg areas in SA by saying that they wont provide assistance because there are lots of electricity theft? I am staying in Kaalfontein(Midrand) and we had a transformer that burst on the 30th June 2019 and we have not had any help since then until today(16 July 2019).

After multiple calls to ESKOM center and getting reference numbers finally call center agents told me that they wont assist me cause of the area I am staying in. I am not even told for how long this ban will take. So frustrating and hurting as South African.
