Eskom power outage since Monday.
My parents who both live in the TOL26D01E Happy Valley Village, Ndabakazi in Butterworth which is located in the Eastern Cape have been reporting that they have had a power outage since Monday morning. This is a huge concern as both of them have type 1 diabetes and as a result are insulin dependent. The insulin has to be refrigerated. If not refrigerated the peptide hormones in the insulin can spoil if not stored properly. All insulins are best kept in the fridge to keep them from spoiling before their expiration date. This is however not possible because of the power outage and can result in serious complications with both their health.
Please restore the electricity in the area as soon as possible. This is so frustrating because everyday is something new with power failure in this country and it is beyond outrageous.
I have sent an email to *** but nothing was resolved and I received a chatbot like reply to a self-service line which also does not help.
My day has sent more than 3 reports on the MyEskomCustomer App and some seem to have been rejected. I don't understand how an enquiry is rejected but the problem has not yet been fixed.
I hope this will be treated with utmost importance.
Regards,
