Eskom Politics

We havent had Electricity from May 23rd until today. Engagement was done with Eskom and they requested the community to do certain things before the problem can be attended to,that was met. We were told told that our box will be shipped from Cape Town and they will keep us posted and the sad thing is that nothing has happen up to today. Are we caught up in what is called politics? We had to destroy what we had in our fridges as we can't cook and its so expensive to live in an area that is without power. The thing also is that our transformer was damaged as a result of overloading but due to vandilism. It has emerged that apperantely there is a problem within Eskom itself that why those 24 houses affected were connected in that sub instead of them to have been connected to other existing Subs. It's is not our fault that Eskom did what they did to connect those 24 houses but we can't be part of their politics. All we want is to have our lives back and they can deal with whatever issues they have in their house. The area is dominated by pensioners with illnesses and deciding that politics will come first instead of community service in be gee y much immoral.

The said area is Dobsonville Ext 1 and only 24 houses are affected.
