ESKOM NOT PROVIDING ANY SERVICE FOR NQAMAKWE

On Monday evening, an electricity transformer blown. Two reports were made that night via eskom emergency email and sms line. No response was provided. The following day on Tuesday, our nearest branch, Butterworth was contacted, they promised to resolve the problem. When a follow up call was made since no officials were sent, they mislead us and said the problem was resolve yet not even a single official was sent to come and inspect. Lives of people were endangered when that TRFR blown as it produced a massive fire and spilt oil that could have harmed people. The residents of Pakade Village feel neglected by eskom as they do not deliver services to us. Till date, in fact till now, not anyone has bothered to send officials to come and inspect the matter. The management of the Butterworth branch itself has failed to do its duty as it has a legal duty to make sure that customers receive the best service from their branch.
