Eskom must go. There is no hope.

I am highly frustrated and at my wits end with Eskom. I don't understand how they can be in charge of our electricity supply..They are useless, rude and disrespectful. Its been over a week since logging our power outage to Eskom and their service is pathetic. I called and waited over an hour to speak to a rep, I was caller number 7 at first and when I finally got to a rep, she greeted me and I proceeded to explain my reason for calling. It was not even 20 seconds then she hung up on me and her name is Natasha. I couldn't believe it. I called back and luckily I got someone else. But then I was told there was no one dispatched and that our case is logged as "normal"..I asked why is our case not urgent and she told me your house literally needs r be on fire or a transformer must be on fire to be logged as an emergency. a Natasha called us yesterday to say we could expect technicians at our home yesterday evening but they never came. We waited like idiots all night in the dark wasting our time not knowing no one was coming. We are still waiting all day for assistance and it is the most frustrating thing as paid clients and customers of this service. They want to decide on their own what is classified as an emergency and what is not. There are people waiting for weeks and even months and its so concerning. Our food has gone down, we are unable to live our lives normally because of no help from a company we entrusted to supply us with reliable assistance and reliable electricity supply. I am beyond irritated and angry at their lack of competence and respect for us. I need assistance urgently please!
