ESKOM is a ****

My home electricity have been cut-off by an Eskom field technician on Tuesday the 15th of October 2019 . They are saying that i am using too little electricity or what they call "Low Sales" and according the new rules and policy a household must use at least R350.00 worth of electricity per month. Which is something new to me and i feel its was very unprofessional and unfair of them because there was no communications before they cut-off my electricity. I did not even get a letter that state the reason my electricity have been cut-off, i heard all of this from the call center which i have been calling from tuesday and I went to the Linbro Office Park on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for assistance and unfortunately none of them are aware of this new policy and they are unable to help. All they say is that i must pay a fine of R6020.00 and purchase electricity of R350.00. I even called the Braamfontein office but no-one can help until i pay this fine, for using too little electricity I stay alone at this house with no backrooms attached it. I work Monday to Friday and leave the house around 6h00am and return around 19h00. I am hardly home on Saturdays as i am attending classes the whole day and on Sundays i am off church. So how am i suppose to use R350.00pm of electricity? My other point is that i use a gas stove for cooking and gas heater to warm me up. I feel that this is a BIG **** cause even if i were to pay that R6020, There is no-way i will use more electricity than i need. Regards, Martin Kameel ***
