Eskom - Intsika Yethu Municipality - Bad Service

I logged an electricity outage ticket with Eskom under the Intsika Yethu Municipality, Tsomo, Xolobe in the Eastern Cape over three weeks ago, yet to this day, electricity has not been restored. The reference number is ***.

This is a recurring issue, and this is the third incident where the community has been left without power for an extended period. Eskom and its technicians are aware of this ongoing problem. In a democracy, no one should be left without electricity for such a prolonged period.

What’s even more concerning is that over the weekend, I saw several Eskom vehicles speeding past our area. They were driving so fast that it was impossible to stop them to raise our concerns.
