Eskom ignorance towards the less fortunate communities

I'd like to report Eskom not treating us fairly and attending to our grievances from last year. At ward 54 under Council Hlomendlini Emndeni South Soweto. We logged a complaint, even filled in forms and signed a petition which was ordered by the Eskom office in Megawatts Sunninghill. We did all of the above and agreed upon a fair payment since most of us are unemployed.

We waited for them and had no electricity for 7 months including the extreme winter months. We followed orders and humbled ourselves and unlike other locations we did not strike.

We ended up replacing our own transformer from our own pockets and everything worked fine until Eskom came and replaced the transformer in May 2021 but did not replace the smaller boxes, like they did in other areas. Now our electricity switches off everyday besides the load shedding scheduled cuts. We don't know what to do. When we call for help,we don't receive any. May you please intervene as we have no electricity and our old folks are dying from the hush cold conditions. People working from home are suffering.
