Eskom find new way to fund deficit

Metre reader left a note on the gate requesting that I take a photo of the metre reading and send to [Email Removed]<br> I did so and their data capturer then incorrectly captured the readings resulting in an invoice of more than R20,000! See mail to Eskom<br> <br> Your mail refers. Reference *** <br> <br> 1) Metre 738279 shows a reading of 931 AND NOT 9311<br> <br> 2) Metre 738671 is the only one to show a correct reading of 26510<br> <br> 3) Metre 738233 shows a reading of 26510 AND NOT 25697<br> <br> Eskom have charged me for consumption of 15,450 AND NOT 6,257 which is a CONSIDERABLE difference.<br> <br> This may be Eskom's way of trying to get funding but don't know where you think individuals are going to drum up R20,000 from.<br> <br> Please RECTIFY this account IMMEDIATELY and before due date so that CORRECT invoice can be paid on due date.<br> <br> EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED ACCOUNT HOLDER<br> <br> But of course you cannot send the mail because the [Email Removed] mailbox has been full and rejects any incoming mail for two days now.
