Eskom doing as they please on prive land - Destroying proprty - ******* poles.

This is a lats resort to reach out to Eskom as I have been trying for months to have an issue resolved with zero assistance or way forward and the only correspondence is the are investigating... Seriously? For 7 months now Eskom is investigating even though I have sent images and video proof yet no action is taken.

In a nutshell: * Sometime in April/June (cant recall) Eskom poles were erected through my land, I kept trying to get answers from Eskom as to whom authorized this and to this day I have never received any explanation.

* Then on the 19th of September '23 3 Eskom vans drove over my wire fencing to access the poles that were erected to do some work. I took photos of everything/vin numbers the lot and a video and sent this all to Eskom.

* I send email after email and called as often as I could. If you have ever tried to call Eskom you will know how frustrating it is that is if you even get to speak to a person. My fiance was very ill and I was trying to juggle all this mess and uniformity I lost her in November. I kept tell Eskom that this is ridiculous to keep reporting this and nothing comes of it.

* The slap in the face was on the 16th of February, 5 months after reporting this I was then told Eskom needs 3 quotes to repair the fence. Quotes were sent. No other information as to whom authorized the poles erected ect ect.

* Then on the 13th of March I get a short email from Eskom saying that "We thank you for your claim dated 19 September 2023 regarding claims for losses allegedly due to Eskom’s activities. We have initiated an investigation into the matter and the findings will be presented to Eskom’s Provincial Claims Committee for adjudication after which we will advise you whether your claim is approved or rejected. Thanking you for your patience.

* I rep**** to Eskom saying that this is crazy and I can not understand why they are dragging their feet on this when I have sent them all the proof.

Not ONE Eskom employee has been out here to asses the damage, nor has anyone responded to my question as to who authorized this.

Eskom keeps on going on about report this and report that, yet they make it impossible to communicate and nothing comes of it.

I can only think that this is politically motivated and all Eskom people are just hush and hope that I will go away!!!
