Eskom demanding money to change transformer

Hi. I am Sarel from Orange Farm Driezik 3 we've been having a problem of a transformer that has blown from the 7th of January 2020 and people from Eskom here in Orange Farm are demanding R6000 per house for the repairing of the transformer and we do not understand how is that our problem.
